Hampton Court. Hot! Hot! Hot!
Hampton Court Flower Show 2013
Just found a few moments after a very successful (if not hot) week at Hampton Court Flower Show to write a quick blog.
The Palace makes a wonderful back drop to the show and over the years of exhibiting there I often wonder what Henry VIII would have thought of all the goings on in his back garden!
It is always wonderful to meet so many of our customers face to face. They can see that we are real people after all and not just faces and voices at the end of the phone or email, and we enjoy chatting with them to find out how their plants have been doing and generally getting to know them.
As usual, we had several plants that were very popular. One was the stunning Salvia Amistad, with spikes of dark blue/purple open mouthed flowers on dark stems. A real eye catcher that demands attention.
Another favourite was the Delphinium Crystal Delight, fully double blooms in shades of lilac pink and yellow. A wonderful addition to any border or container.

Of course, our Penstemon flew out as they always do!
Off to plan for Tatton Flower show next week now.
