Merry Christmas Haylofters!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ONLY FOUR MORE SLEEPS!

We have finally been able to unveil our brand new website, a project that has kept me extremely busy over the past 12 months. If you have not seen this already, please do take a look here and let us know what you think!

After Christmas, I will need to remember what my 'day job' looked like.

                                                                               ***

On a scale of 1-10, (1 being poor and 10 being extremely), how well prepared do you feel for Christmas this year? I am currently verging on a 6 or 7?  Regardless of how many lists I have sprawled across the house, I am convinced I have missed something vital.

Presents - Check
Food - Check
Prosecco - Check
Games - Check
Recipe Book - Check
Charming banter - Almost there!

Is there anything else one needs?

To be honest, I am just looking forward to not being dictated to by my alarm clock and spending much needed time with friends and family, trying not to worry about the heavy calorie intake that is about to overcome my belly and thighs.

The office has become noticeably quieter and most of our packing team have literally 'packed up' and finished for the year. A plethora of empty Roses and Quality street boxes are already strewn across all offices and we are feeling ready for a break.

This season has been incredibly strange and we have seen a long, cold winter at the beginning of the year and an equally as long and dry heatwave in the summer which undoubtedly left our gardens and plants very confused. We have had to work hard this year to battle the elements but I think we have all done a marvellous job, so please do give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back.

What are your plans for Christmas this year?

For me, I will driving down the M5 on Sunday morning, listening to 2 and a half hours worth of Christmas music, plodding on through the traffic and country roads.

If you too are travelling over Christmas, please make sure you get to your destination safely and whatever you do, please have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I look forward to catching up with you all in 2019.

and all the ladies at Hayloft x
